Job Summary:
We are looking for a Deburring Technician to be responsible for cleaning machined parts and removing burrs, nicks, and scratches with the use of hand and power tools.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Finish and remove burrs from metal parts using hand and some powered hand tools
- Read work orders and blue prints and follow specifications to complete daily projects
- Utilize different gauges to verify and visually check machined parts
- Prepare finished parts for final product assembly
- Maintain cleanliness of work area
Requirements:
- Position requires the applicant be a US Person or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
- Experience utilizing files, deburring wheels, scrapers, etc. with care and efficiency
- Good understanding of material handling techniques
- Basic use of metrology equipment such as micrometers and calipers
- Ability to take direction from supervisor and independently compete tasks
- Knowledge of basic blue print reading
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
