Job Summary:
We are looking for a Quality Foreman to delegate tasks effectively and supervise the inspection team during the daily activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and effectively delegate daily tasks and responsibilities to the appropriate inspection personnel.
- Assist the Inspection Team with manual entry of technical data and other related tasks for Inspection Reports and projects when required.
- Ensure all required inspection report documentation is accurately completed and compiled as per company policies and regulatory/statutory requirements.
- Review customer requirements and submit inspection reports, First Article Inspection Reports, and Quality Data Packages as needed.
- Effectively communicate with customers when additional information is required.
- Periodically assist inspection personnel with troubleshooting various problems that arise within the inspection department.
- Plan tasks with another department foreman when needed.
- Maintain organization within the inspection department.
- Assist customers and customer representatives during source inspections and customer visits.
- Maintain safe working environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Requirements:
- Position requires the applicant be a US Person or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
- Mastery in the use of metrology instruments
- CMM Mastery Required: Calipso (Zeiss) and PC DMIS (Hexagon)
- Mastery of GD&T Required
- Working Knowledge of AS9102 First Article Reports, and Data Packages
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel
- The ability to troubleshoot and critically think
- High school education required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in metrology lab.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
- Knowledge and familiarity working in a fast-paced machine shop environment.
- Strong communication, organizational and written skills.
